Classical Yoga or traditional yoga has been practiced in the Himalayas for centuries and is the style Prudence learned directly from the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and continues to practice daily. Through a deep and attentive process of stretching and relaxing, Classical Yoga effectively releases stress held throughout the body, bringing it to a quiet, receptive and more relaxed state. The poses are performed very naturally with attention turned inward, allowing the "ancient asana itself to bring the body to more supple, subtle and healthy stages."
This day seminar (11am -5pm) will delve deeper into the following topics:

- The Heritage of Classical Yoga
- The Physiology of Classical Yoga
- The Principles of Classical Yoga
The tentative agenda will include:
- Morning Classical Yoga Asana Practice
- Afternoon Classical Yoga Asana Practice
The asana practices are not intended to be intense practices like Hot Yoga, but rather an experiential understanding of the essence of Classical Yoga and its physiological effects. This Classical Yoga seminar is for all yogi levels. CEUs are available for Registered Yoga Teachers.
